Starts At Sunset on the Pedestrian Bridge for NYE

Join WaterFire Providence for another Starts At Sunset, a community gathering on the Michael S. Van Leesten Memorial Pedestrian Bridge part of the Illuminate PVD NYE Celebration supported by the Providence Tourism Council

Schedule:
5:00 pm - Food trucks, music, artists and roaming entertainment
7:00 pm - WaterFire lighting and art activation
8:30 pm - Illuminate PVD Fireworks show

Ring in the new year in 195 District Park, where festivities will illuminate the night from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. There will be a mix of experiential tents with interactive art activations, music, and roaming entertainment promising enjoyment for all ages. A mix of food trucks and The Guild will be on hand, serving beverages to the 21+ crowd.

There will be a lighting of WaterFire’s braziers surrounding the pedestrian bridge, starting at 7:00 p.m., setting the stage for the Providence Tourism Council’s Illuminate PVD Fireworks show at 8:30 p.m. sharp! The surrounding park area and The Michael Van Leesten Pedestrian Bridge offers the perfect vantage point of the fireworks on the Providence River.
