Strawberry Festival and Craft Fair
Started almost 50 years ago by Beth Bourne, and continued now by the Bourne Historical Society, the Annual Strawberry Festival is always wonderful summer fun for the whole family! Tour the grounds, historic buildings and enjoy a delicious strawberry shortcake with homemade biscuits & fresh whipped cream!
The Craft Fair begins at 11 AM: local artists and craftspeople will be participating in the craft fair. Find unique, local and handmade items!
All the historic buildings on the site will be open including the colonial salt works, Aptucxet Trading Post, President Grover Cleveland's Gray Gables Railroad Station, Aptucxet Gift Shop, and Joseph Jefferson Windmill. The Windmill is housing a special art installation, a 6-horse pedal-powered carousel created by local artist Lance Shinkle with hand carved horses and paintings by the artist. Check out this amazing work of art!
