Blueberry Festival
18 Monument Square

The annual Blueberry Festival is two days of summer fun for all ages! Held on the first Friday and Saturday in August since 1980, the Festival brings thousands of people to scenic Montrose PA to enjoy blueberry everything, from ice cream to pies. Admission is free!
Proceeds benefit the Susquehanna County Historical Society & Free Library Association.

The Blueberry Festival began in 1980 as a fundraising event for the Susquehanna County Historical Society and Free Library Association. Since its beginning, the Festival has been a community celebration, which has grown into an eagerly-awaited event supported by the partnership of hundreds of volunteers and the dedication of local businesses.

The Blueberry Festival represents small town life at its finest. Thousands of people gather each year to enjoy the food, fun and friendship. All funds raised at the Festival are used to operate the Susquehanna County Historical Society and Free Library Association, which includes library locations in Forest City, Hallstead-Great Bend, Montrose and Susquehanna; an Outreach Services department; the county museum; and a genealogical research center.
