Built in 1857, Stanton Hall was constructed by Frederick Stanton and Irish immigrant and cotton merchant. An esquite example of a palatial Greek revival style residence with impressive Corinthian columns and delicate cast iron railing, it occupied an entire city block and cost over $83,000.00 before it was furnished. It is owned and operated by the Pilgrimage Garden Club of Natchez.
