Urbana Sweet Corn Days

Urbana’s Sweet Corn Days festival is coordinated by a seasoning of all the right people (a few sweet, some salty, definitely one cheesy) to form what is known as the Urbana Visioning Committee. We are a group of Urbana residents, all different ages, interests, professional backgrounds and experiences, but united on one front. Each person provides a unique perspective and skill to the organization that forms our perfect recipe, and what truly makes us pop!

If you are not familiar with us, the Urbana Visioning Committee is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the future of Urbana, Iowa. Our mission is to provide individuals and families with healthier and safer alternatives for outdoor recreation through the addition of sidewalks and trails; and in creating a more environmentally-friendly atmosphere by planting trees, shrubs, and flowers throughout the community. We are devoted to increasing community pride and supporting active and healthy lifestyles for future generations.

As part of our overall efforts, Sweet Corn Days is a way to bring the community together and celebrate our town and tradition. By joining us for this event, you will be helping the committee fund future projects for the betterment of Urbana. Here are some of our initiatives:
