Crescent City Catfish Festival

The festival is more than catfish dinners (although the catfish fingerlings and filet sandwiches are a good reason to come) games for the kids; arts and crafts vendors; and a parade. If catfish is not your thing, we have burgers, hotdogs, chicken fingers, fresh strawberry shortcake, and even frog legs and swamp cabbage!

The festivities will begin promptly at 10 AM Saturday, April 6, 2024, and will continue throughout the day until 5 PM. Don’t be surprised if, upon arrival, you find a multitude of attendees already bustling about the event grounds. Locals have been anticipating the return of Catfish so it’s best to arrive early to get a prime spot!  The day’s activities will feature something for everyone, including art and crafts, exciting entertainment, and the highly anticipated Catfish Car Show.
