The Minco Honey Festival started thirty two years ago by the Minco Chamber of Commerce with nine craft booths. Now the Honey Festival, Saturday, December 3, has over 90 crafters, a quilt show, Honey Plant tours, kid’s Tractor Pull, and Made in Oklahoma products.
This is the place to find pure sweet Oklahoma honey from the largest honey producing facility in the state. Tours of the Ross Honey Plant are given throughout the day by owners Jim and Glenda Ross. Honey products and gifts will be available for purchase.
As the land of milk and honey, Minco dairy producers will have free samples of cheese and milk products. Attendees will notice the aroma of food throughout town from local restaurants and food vendors.
It is a day to enjoy a feeling of an Old Fashioned Christmas in Minco, Oklahoma located on Highway 81 between El Reno and Chickasha, just 30 minutes southwest of Oklahoma City.
